Daedric Quests: Daedric Princes

  • The Black Star: Speak to Aranea Ienith at the Shrine of Azura, on the mountain south of Winterhold. Asking about elven mages at the inn in Winterhold leads to the same quest. Reward: Azura's Star from Aranea, or The Black Star from Nelacar.
  • Boethiah's Calling: From level 30, read the book Boethiah's Proving, carried by a cultist who attacks you on the road, or walk up to the Sacellum of Boethiah in the mountains east of Windhelm. Reward: Ebony Mail.
  • A Daedra's Best Friend: From level 10, a guard at Falkreath's gate asks whether you have seen a dog. Speak to Lod the blacksmith, then meet the dog Barbas on the road outside town. Reward: Masque of Clavicus Vile.
  • Discerning the Transmundane: Visit Septimus Signus in his ice cave on the sea north of the College of Winterhold. The main quest Elder Knowledge sends you to him as well. Reward: Oghma Infinium.

  • The Cursed Tribe: From level 9, walk up to the Orc stronghold of Largashbur, south-west of Riften, where giants are attacking, and speak to Atub. Reward: Volendrung.

  • The Break of Dawn: From level 12, Meridia's Beacon turns up in a boss chest, or go straight to the Statue to Meridia on the mountain west of Solitude. Reward: Dawnbreaker.
  • The House of Horrors: In Markarth, find Vigilant Tyranus asking about the abandoned house near the gate and go inside with him. Reward: Mace of Molag Bal.
  • The Taste of Death: Speak to Brother Verulus in Understone Keep, Markarth, about the closed Hall of the Dead (or pick its lock), then go in and listen to Eola. No level is needed. Reward: Ring of Namira and gold.
  • The Only Cure: Reach level 12 and speak to Kesh the Clean at the Shrine to Peryite near Karthwasten. From level 10 an Afflicted Refugee met on the road can also send you there. Reward: Spellbreaker.
  • A Night to Remember: From level 14, a man called Sam Guevenne offers a drinking contest in any inn. Reward: Sanguine Rose.
  • The Mind of Madness: Find the beggar Dervenin wandering the streets of Solitude and hear him out. Reward: Wabbajack.
