Bleak Falls Barrow
Retrieve the Dragonstone from the draugr-filled Bleak Falls Barrow near Riverwood and bring it back to Farengar.
- Questline: Main Quest – Act I
- Given by: Jarl Balgruuf the Greater
- Reward: Enchanted levelled armour and a word of Unrelenting Force
- Where: Falkreath Hold
How to start
Report to Jarl Balgruuf in Dragonsreach, then speak to his court wizard, Farengar Secret-Fire, who wants a Dragonstone.
Can be missed
Going to the barrow before you report to Balgruuf skips this quest, and The Golden Claw takes over instead. You then also miss Farengar's talk with Delphine and the book Holdings of Jarl Gjalund.
Good to know
Speaking to Farengar also starts the side quest The Golden Claw.
