Diplomatic Immunity
Pose as a guest at a Thalmor party in their embassy outside Solitude, slip away to find intelligence in the ambassador's rooms and cells, and escape.
- Questline: Main Quest – Act II
- Given by: Delphine
- Where: Thalmor Embassy
How to start
Talk to Delphine in Riverwood once A Blade in the Dark is done, then meet Malborn in Solitude.
Can be missed
Once you escape, only the embassy grounds and barracks can be entered, not the building itself. Before leaving, take the dossiers on Esbern, Delphine and Ulfric and the display-case daggers and circlets in Elenwen's Solar. Before the Ages of Man waits in Reeking Cave.
Good to know
Delphine holds your gear while you are inside; the follow-up quest Recover your equipment returns it from her chest, so collect it before heading to Riften.
