Destroy the Dark Brotherhood!
Maro gives you the pass phrase for the Black Door. Go into the Falkreath Sanctuary and kill every assassin inside, then return to him.
- Questline: Dark Brotherhood – The other path
- Given by: Commander Maro
- Reward: 3,000 gold
- Where: Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary
How to start
Kill Astrid in the Abandoned Shack instead of one of her captives, then tell any guard what you have done. You are sent to Commander Maro of the Penitus Oculatus in Dragon Bridge.
Good to know
This closes the Dark Brotherhood for good: no more of its quests, and the achievements for joining it cannot be earned by this character.
