Bloodline
Deliver Serana to Castle Volkihar and hear her father's offer. Accept Lord Harkon's blood and you join his court as a Vampire Lord; refuse and you are thrown out to fight beside the Dawnguard.
- Questline: Dawnguard – Main quest
- Given by: Serana
- Reward: Vampire Lord form and the Necromantic Healing tome if you accept
- Add-on: Dawnguard
- Where: Castle Volkihar
How to start
Serana asks to be taken home as soon as she is free. Leave Dimhollow Crypt by its far exit, past a word wall for Drain Vitality, and take the boat at Icewater Jetty on the north-west coast of Haafingar.
Good to know
This one answer decides which side's quests you get for the rest of the add-on. Refusing does not rule the Vampire Lord out for good: Serana can turn you later.
